The speech will focus on UPS’s track record of innovation through the years, highlighting specific achievements and how they have benefited the small business world as a whole. The speech will link trends in Canadian small business with those in emerging markets, emphasizing the importance of global trade and how others have capitalized on technological advances to improve their bottom line.

ABOUT RAM VENKITE
Ram Venkite is UPS Canada’s Director of Business Development for West Canada. His responsibilities include all business development activity from the province of Manitoba across to British Columbia. Ram works out of the UPS facility in Annacis Island in Delta, B.C.
Ram joined UPS in December 1998, where he began as an Account Executive in Toronto. During his 10 year tenure with UPS, Ram has held several management roles of increased responsibility in the areas of customer sales, business development and sales training. Ram also completed a one-year special assignment at UPS’s global headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, where he carried out sales training workshops.
Ram completed his undergraduate studies in Hotel Management in Mumbai, India. He currently lives in Surrey, B.C., with his wife, four-year-old son and three-year old daughter.
