Laura Eaton is responsible for the Product Management portfolio for Primus Business Services and directs the development of strategic initiatives within the VoIP, hosting and managed services portfolio. Prior to taking on this role, Laura was responsible for marketing, customer retention and new product development initiatives for Access/Connectivity Services within Primus Business Services.
Before joining Primus in 2002, Laura’s roles focused on product management, channel sales and marketing and direct marketing for telecom companies in the southwestern Ontario region.
In 2004, she was recognized by Primus for top performance in marketing with the Top National Marketing Award. Through her 14 years experience in the Canadian Telecommunications industry, Laura has focused largely on products for the small- and medium-sized business market and has maintained her focus on developing and sustaining products to support this market’s unique business requirements.

Jason Fischl

Jason Fischl is the Chief Technology Officer of CounterPath, a leading provider of fixed and mobile VoIP software products and solutions. Previously, Jason was a co-founder and CTO of TelTel, a SIP service provider, and Cathay Networks where he developed a SIP-based IP Centrex system. Jason is one of the founding members of, and a key contributor to, SIPfoundry, Vovida.org and the reSIProcate open source SIP project. He has been an active contributor to IETF protocol development, and is co-chair of the BLISS working group focused on improving interoperability of enterprise features.

Mr. Baker is the Chief Technical Officer of Sutus, Inc., a company specifically focused on delivering converged communications, collaboration, and data products designed specifically for small business. As V.P. of Engineering and CTO of Circa Communications, Mr. Baker was instrumental in the development, standardization, and commercialization of IP telephones. Circa Communications was acquired by Polycom in April 2001 and Mr. Baker served as the Director of Technology for Polycom’s Voice Communications division. As the
CTO of Sutus Inc., he has worked to bring innovative small business communications and networking products to market and to make them manageable by the non-technical user. Mr. Baker has broad experience and a skill set spanning the applied and pure sciences primarily in the fields of electrical engineering, computer science, and networking.
